What is LumberLinq?
LumberLinq is a Timber Management System for timber exporters, sawmill operators, freight forwarders, timber traders and wholesalers. It replaces spreadsheets with one platform that covers the whole workflow, from log tally to the final shipment. It is built and operated by RIK Exim Pvt Ltd.
Is there a free trial for LumberLinq?
Yes. You can start a free trial and no credit card is needed. The Pricing page shows the plans and the current trial details.
How much does LumberLinq cost?
LumberLinq has four plans: Seedling, Sapling, Tree and Forest, billed monthly or yearly in US dollars or Indian rupees. If you need more users, storage, AI credits, business partners, tally sheets or shipments than your plan includes, you can add extras. Current prices are always on the Pricing page.
Does LumberLinq work offline?
The Android app has an offline mode. Your team can capture tallies and photos without a signal, and everything syncs automatically when the phone is back online.
Can I turn a paper tally sheet into a digital one?
Yes. Upload a photo or a PDF of the paper tally sheet and LumberLinq reads it row by row. Anything unclear is flagged so a person can check it before it is saved.
Does LumberLinq calculate CBM and CFT for round logs and sawn timber?
Yes. Tally sheets calculate volume in CBM and CFT as you tally, for round logs and for sawn timber. Round log volume can follow the Hoppus convention that is common in the Indian and teak trade.
Can I manage shipments and consignments in LumberLinq?
Yes. You can manage shipments end to end: transport units, sea ports, containers, business partners, documents and payments. Reports cover partners, consignments, finances, reconciliation, inventory and operators.
Can I track stock across yards and mills?
Yes. LumberLinq tracks inventory across loading sites and mills, including receiving, dispatch, lot-level traceability and quality grading. Full stage-by-stage mill processing and yield tracking is still in development and is not yet available to all customers.
Can I share a tally sheet or shipment with a buyer or partner?
Yes. Share links come in three levels: Public, Protected and Private. You can brand the view, share it by QR code, and choose exactly which fields the other person can see.
Which languages and currencies does LumberLinq support?
The app is available in English, Hindi, Portuguese, French and Spanish. Invoices and payments work in more than 30 currencies, with automatic conversion to your company’s reporting currency.
Can I export my data to Excel or PDF?
Yes. You can export branded PDF and Excel files, including chart-based Excel exports, and you can import data in bulk from Excel.
Is there an iPhone app as well as an Android app?
Yes. LumberLinq is on Google Play for Android and on the App Store for iPhone, and it also works in the web browser.
Does LumberLinq have an affiliate program?
